HCC provides quality supported accommodation combined with practical back-up from qualified, trained and experienced staff. We encourage our service users to develop independent living skills, boosting their self-esteem, fostering positive relationships and engaging in key activities such as cooking, money management and tenancy sustainment via our bespoke Life Skills Programme.
Semi-Independent Accommodation (SIA)
Providing shared accommodation within a house share environment, we have 2-6 bedroom properties and enable service users to help prepare for independent living. Our properties are equipped so that people can live within a comfortable, safe and secure environment. We match people in accordance to their needs and ability to share a living space effectively.
A home-from-home environment, for those that require nurturing, care and support and are in need of a family environment. We recruit and train those with a spare room who wish to make a difference in a an young person’s life. Our householders are fully vetted (DBS, Health & Safety Compliant) before they come on board and are monitored regularly and provided with up-to-date training and support.
When clients are ready for independent living, HCC have standalone properties available, also suitable for those who cannot share with others due to safeguarding risks.
