Revive Supported Living was established as an organisation designed to promote, support and offer opportunities to young adults within a secure and supportive residential setting. Our ethos is that every young adult in our care deserves to reach their full potential despite their difficult backgrounds and start in life.

Evidence illustrates that the system does not prevent young adults from re-offending. Government figures confirm a stark picture of the UK having of the highest re-offending rates in Europe for youth offenders.

Through working with young adults (including those in HMP) the Director of Revive Supported Living Ltd highlights that resettlement and release planning are crucial phases for all Criminal Justice leavers. It is this phase that Revive Supported Living have targeted as needing extensive intervention to drastically reduce the chances of re-offending.

Due to the current lack of social accommodation, educational support, employment opportunities, well-being and rehabilitative therapy and training focus, many young adults are simply thrust back into the toxic environments that precipitated their initial offending or misdemeanours.
Revive Supported Living offers a vital accommodation strategy for young adults released from custody or leaving care. Our supported accommodation is constructed to ensure that young adults have suitable housing in place before they leave the Criminal Justice system, Care system or their broken homes. For those leaving the Criminal Justice system we seek at a minimum, one month’s notice (where possible) before release to ensure adequate preparations. We work closely with all our partners to improve outcomes for all our young people, therefore, Ideally, resettlement planning should commence at the time of sentencing to ensure all services are available in readiness for their release date, and to provide our young people with the optimum care and support that we passionately feel they deserve.
